Tourist Visa

Saudi Arabia recently introduced a tourist visa that allows individuals to visit for tourism purposes. Currently, citizens of 49 countries can apply for an online tourist visa, while others need to apply offline through authorized travel agents. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the arrival date.

Business Visa

This visa is issued to individuals traveling to Saudi Arabia for business-related activities, such as attending meetings, conferences, or exhibitions. The requirements for a business visa may vary, but typically include a passport valid for at least 6 months, an invitation letter from the Saudi host company along with copy of commercial registration certificate, a cover letter addressed to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, a recommendation letter from Chamber of Commerce and copy of Attested Degree Certifica

Employment Visa

This visa is required for individuals who have secured employment in Saudi Arabia. The employer in Saudi Arabia usually sponsors the visa. The requirements generally include a valid passport, a signed employment contract, a medical certificate, an agency Authorisation, attested degree certificate, and other documents depending on the nature of the employment.

Temporary Work Visa

This visa is for short-term work assignments that last for 90 days. The requirements may include a valid passport, visa approval from Ministry of Interior - Govt of Saudi Arabia, Medical Fitness Report from authorised medical centers, Employment Contract from the sponsoring employer and other documents specified by concerned embassy / consulate.

Family Visit Visa

This visa allows Indian citizens to visit their relatives who are residents in Saudi Arabia. The sponsoring relative in Saudi Arabia typically has to apply for the visa on behalf of the visitor. The requirements may include a valid passport, a letter of invitation from the sponsor, proof of relationship, and other supporting documents.

Student Visa

This visa is required for Indian students who wish to pursue higher education in Saudi Arabia. The requirements generally include a valid passport, a letter of acceptance from a recognized educational institution in Saudi Arabia, proof of financial means to support education, and other supporting documents.

Hajj Visa

This visa is issued to Muslims who wish to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. The Saudi Arabian government usually coordinates the issuance of Hajj visas through approved travel agencies, and the specific requirements may vary each year.

Umrah Visa

Umrah visa is a travel document issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to allow Muslims to enter the country to perform the Umrah pilgrimage. Umrah is a lesser pilgrimage to Mecca that can be performed at any time of the year.

Indian citizens can get an Umrah visa through the following ways:

Through the Umrah E-Visa program

This is the most common way for Indian citizens to get an Umrah visa. The travel agency will handle the entire application process on your behalf, including providing the required documents and making the visa application. The required documents and application process are the same as for applying through a travel agency.

Through an authorised travel agency

The Umrah e-Visa program is a new program that allows Indian citizens to apply for an Umrah visa online. The program is still in its early stages, and it is not yet clear which Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

The required documents for an Umrah visa for Indian citizens are:

  • A valid Indian passport with at least six months of validity from the date of entry into Saudi Arabia.
  • A recent passport-size photograph.
  • A medical certificate stating that you are fit to travel.
  • A letter from your employer or school, if you are a student, stating that you are allowed to travel.
  • The visa application fee for an Umrah visa for Indian citizens is Rs 15000/

The processing time for an Umrah visa for Indian citizens is typically 2-3 working days.
